Possibility to add a custom icon?

Thanks for your beautiful wrapper. Is it possible to decorate your final binary with a custom icon :) ?
I have most of the shell scripts in my compressed applications, but I don't know how to change the generic icon for shell mime type.
Final wrappe binary of for example Firefox, is not Firefox icon, but only this generic shell icon.

As far as I know only Windows executables can contain icons; on Linux it's usually a .desktop entry entry, and on macOS it's reserved to App bundles.

I can add an option to bundle a separate icon for Windows runners, but I assume you're asking about Linux where that wouldn't help. Do you have an example of other software that solves this, or an idea what approach would work best?

in .appimage you can set icon, or if wrappe possibly had header, then it would be possible to unpack the icon before wrappe and update icon-cache (update-icon-caches). Something similar to makeself ( https://github.com/megastep/makeself )
