Description
If it isn't slow (check this) .... you might like to add some basic image QC metrics to mcols of your masks. Just the number of cells in each image and your signal/noise ratio.
You can then add some QC plots .... maybe some histograms or densities of the signal/noise. and some of the log10(counts + 1)
You could also add a scatterplot of log10(counts + 1) vs signal/noise and see if that is useful.
