Description
Hi there,
I'm having problems using syreDrive to model a motor. I'm using the motor file for the Tesla Model 3 that comes with SyR-e, and when I try to model it at low torques (<~30 Nm) the controller seems to have problems getting to the set torque. I've attached a screenshot of the torque scope in the Simulink model of the system.
You can see that the controller manages to get to the set torque for a little bit, but then it becomes unstable and the motor starts to have a negative torque that oscillates wildly. This problem reduces when I use DFVC instead of FOC, but it doesn't fully fix it.
The result is that the motor current used in FEMM doesn't look correct at all, as its magntiude and frequency don't manage the torque/speed I want it to model. Subsequently the motor losses don't appear to be correct, due to the incorrect phase current.
Please could you offer some advice on this, thank you.
