Setting the R working directory to something other than the project root

So my situation is that I have a project with the following structure:

project
\r-project
  \src
  \noteboox
  \renv
  \.Rprofile 
  \.lintr
\ci-cd 
\docs 
\.gitignore

Is there some setting I can use at the workspace level to tell the R extension to setwd() into the r-project directory and use it as the R working directory(execute .Rprofile and everything) instead of defaulting to the root of the workspace?
