Description
I am trying to access a Windows VM via RDP using FireEdge (browser-based RDP).
RDP is enabled in the VM template (RDP="YES"), and RDP is also enabled inside the Windows guest.
However, FireEdge always shows the error:

"Cannot find a NIC with RDP"

Setup

  • OpenNebula Community Edition
  • KVM
  • FireEdge UI
  • Windows VM created from a golden image
  • VM is connected to a bridged VNET
  • IP address is assigned via external DHCP (not OpenNebula DHCP)
  • Networking inside the VM works (VM has an IP and is reachable)

Observations

  • The VM does have an IP inside the guest OS (Windows 11 Enterprise)
  • But in onevm show -x, the following fields are empty:
