Android system proxy does not work; request for fix and proxy connection test feature

After configuring a system proxy on Android, the proxy does not take effect. I am certain the proxy server itself is working correctly, because it works when using Edge with ProxyOmega. This indicates the issue is specific to the Android proxy handling.

Could this be fixed?
Additionally, it would be very helpful to have a built‑in feature that tests whether the proxy connection is functioning properly.

The proxy also works normally when configured in the Nicegram app.
