Showcase cards: handle GitLab repositories #1081
Description
Prerequisites
- I have searched for duplicate or closed feature requests

Proposal
Right now, the script creating the showcase page is able to gather information from GitHub. Otherwise, links are handled just as links.
The script should use the GitLab API in order to gather information about GitLab repositories too.
Motivation and context
This change would improve the cards rendering of GitLab repositories to be more consistent, would bring more information, and would be more visually appealing.
