umu ID for a "total conversion" mod? #125

Hello,

I'm part of the team working on the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade Mod for X-Wing Alliance, which is the base of the TIE Fighter Total Conversion mod.

The mod is heavily modifying the game engine, including graphic effects, VR support, and using many DLL hooks that have additional Wine requirements on top of the original game.

Currently we're working to make it work properly with Wine, and we need dll overrides, dotnet48, vcrun2022, some fonts...
It would be convenient to eventually automate the required fixes with umu-protonfixes.

What is the policy about granting umu ID's to mods? Would it be possible to get an ID for our project since it's basically a new game?
