Remaining Features to Incorporate #18

Listing below the remaining features I'd like to see on the tool, some for the demo session with Zoning, some for Comms approval, and some just for launch.

Columns/features

  • Query by use / Zoning Resolution: could be useful to include Use Group like the NAICS-based search does, otherwise I like the ordering and simplicity here

  • For all: NAICS Title column name should be NAICS Index Name

  • Query by use / NAICS Index: remove Permitted reason once we've presented to EDR / Zoning for demos

  • Query by zoning district: could remove Permitted value and Permitted reason

  • View all uses and indexes: remove False values from Special Permit, Size Restrictions, etc.; remove Permitted Value (symbols); remove all NAICS columns except NAICS Index Name and NAICS Code; move Is Allowed and Is Allowed flag to the left in column ordering

Language

  • Need to include a blurb about how ground floor commercial uses are regulated by the C district you see on a lot, while the R district you see governs the uses allowed in the rest of the building and surrounding space - consult Zoning/EDR about this

Formatting

  • Remove "This is an experimental application" watermark when approved

  • Maybe make Use Query Tool heading bolder / change font color to orange?

  • Add hyperlink to this URL: "https://zr.planning.nyc.gov/article-i/chapter-2#12-10" for all uses that contain "#", which represents a ZR-defined term
