Add Desktop/Laptop CPU Throttling Presets (e.g., Low-tier i3, Mid-tier i5) #403
Description
Currently, the Settings > Throttling > CPU throttling presets section only supports mobile device calibration (e.g., "Low-tier mobile device" and "Mid-tier mobile device").
However, many web applications are heavily used on budget laptops, legacy desktops and enterprise hardware (such as older Intel Core i3 or i5 machines). These devices have significantly different performance characteristics compared to mobile hardware, creating a gap in testing capabilities.
I suggest adding the following presets:
Low-tier Desktop: Simulates a dual-core processor, older i3, or Celeron equivalent.
Mid-tier Desktop: Simulates an average office-grade i5 or equivalent.
Additionally, please consider the feasibility of adding a custom throttling multiplier. Allowing developers to manually input a specific rate, rather than being limited to the standard presets (4x, 6x, 20x), would be extremely helpful for precise performance tuning.
