How to use a null input example (synth example)

Really having trouble understanding how to do something like this basic Sox synth command with the lua-libsox syntax:
-r 8000 -n output.wav synth 3 sine 300-3300

Currently not supported :-(, it is easy to implement, just a new method similar to CNullFile from https://pythonhosted.org/pysox/reference.html.
I will try to make time to add it, I find it quite useful.
