How to compile windows version on linux?

Hello,
i am using a linux vm to check out the code and compile the project. When nothing breaks i get the Makelangelo--with-dependencies.jar file and it works on linux and on windows. But in the official releases there is a .msi file that contains a Makelangelo.exe when installed. Can this .exe file be compiled in linux too?

The official releases include a deb file for linux, and of course when you compile to a jar you can run that with java -jar makealngelo-with-dependencies.jar
