Description
Hi,
I am reasonably new to linux and Github, so please forgive me if I am not including enough information. I am having an issue with hid-tmff2 / Mint OS not detecting my T128 wheel correctly after a reboot.
I installed hid-tmff2 a few days ago (via DKMS), along with the Oversteer application, and after they installed, the system detected my wheel and worked perfectly. However, after powering up my PC the next morning, it no longer detects it and Mint OS loads it as a 'Generic X-Box Pad'. I installed no updates via the OS system manager, in case that has disrupted anything.
Can anyone help me determine what the issue could be?
dkms status shows the following:
hid-tmff2/0.82, 6.14.0-28-generic, x86_64: installed
nvidia/575.64.03, 6.14.0-27-generic, x86_64: installed
nvidia/575.64.03, 6.14.0-28-generic, x86_64: installed
nvidia/575.64.03, 6.8.0-78-generic, x86_64: installed
When I run sudo dmesg -w and monitor the wheel when it is plugged in, it shows as a generic X-Box Pad, with no mention of hid-tmff2 and instead loads xhci_hcd. Previously, it showed as 'Thrustmaster Advanced Racer'

Oversteer reports no devices available, but previously showed it as 'Thrustmaster Advanced Racer':
I have attempted to remove/purge & re-install the driver several times, uninstall/re-install Oversteer and also used the blacklist command below, but with no success.
echo 'blacklist hid_thrustmaster' | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/hid_thrustmaster.conf
