Suggestion for repo improvement

Hi,

I would like to use this extension, but do the phpBB extension management via composer, but afaik this repo structure with the "composer.json" and extension in a sub directory is not compatible with composer-installation.

I would suggest to update this later. :)

Hi,

no, that is not what i meant. :)

If you look at your phpBB-installation, you find a "composer.json" in the root-directory.

If you add there an extension, this could be automatically downloaded and copied to phpBB/ext/author/ext-name/ and then activated in the ACP. With futue phpBB versions, e.g. phpBB 4.x the activation will work completely with composer, so no clicks in the ACP needed.
But for that, your repository needs to follow a certain structure. If you go to: https://getcomposer.org/doc/01-basic-usage.md#the-require-key it will show you how this works.

And would include your extension, i will not get installed to phpBB/ext/, but instead go to phpBB/vendor/ or not working at all.
