Missing PATCH

How come PATCH is not allowed if PUT is?

PATCH would be inconsistent with the related IHE Document Sharing profiles. There would be no way to reliably process PATCH except in a purely MHDS environment. Thus it might be useful to have in MHDS as an additional capability, but it would be inappropriate in the MHD.
