iPadOS puts "Homegraph" before and after some words #32
Description
On my old iPad I have trouble with some phrases. Sometimes it puts "Homegraph" before and after a single word.
I didn't test it enough to give you some more details, but the bug is already known: https://communities.apple.com/de/thread/254066932
It is unlikely to see a fix from Apple for every device. So we need a recommendation how to deal with it.
This one maybe have a workaround according to the Bug comments in the apple community. But maybe there is a trick to prevent this highlighting feature with JS?
To give a short summary of the german thread:
- maybe only on german voices
- you can disable highlighting as workaround
- not everybody has the option to disable
- it was fixed on an old patch version
- was broken again on the next major version
- some people don't get the fix on known good versions
Based on this, my conclusion is: we will never get rid of this issue, there are too many effected versions and they rereleased the problem multiple times.
