Chrome on Android defaults to another language without a default voice #6
Description
On Android, selecting a default voice requires:
- selecting the preferred TTS engine
- but also a language
- and a default voice for each language/region
For example, if the German voice pack is installed, but the default voice for German hasn't been selected. Playback will default to English instead.
Or if both the voice packs for France and Canada have been installed for French, but with only a default option selected for France, selecting Canada will instead default to the voice for France.
In an English book with a few sentences in French, this could result in an English voice being used to read French for example.
