The latest released version 2.0.0 of this actions plugin causes the following warning in Actions:

Node.js 20 actions are deprecated. The following actions are running on Node.js 20 and may not work as expected: gsactions/commit-message-checker@v2, nick-fields/retry@v3. Actions will be forced to run with Node.js 24 by default starting June 2nd, 2026. Please check if updated versions of these actions are available that support Node.js 24.

Please upgrade this plugin to use node.js 24.

Actions warning, see above.

Expected Behavior

No actions warning.

Steps To Reproduce

Use the latest released version 2.0.0 of this plugin in GitHub Actions, and see the warnig in the Actions summary.

Hi @andy-maier - @gilbertsoft hasn't been seen for a couple or three years. We'll have to fork this.

I forked this to https://github.com/ddev/commit-message-checker where you will get responses.

DDEV will need to start using that one.
