bambu versions clarification 3.12 or 3.13

Thank you so much for fixing the xgboost bugs and other issues in the most recent release.
I think it is called
bambu v3.12.1
Release date: 2026-01-14

In the latest bioconductor, it is at 3.12.0, I think this 3.12.0 referring to Bioconductor releases version on October 28, 2020, not bambu 3.12.
The conda page is also still at 3.8.3.

Do you have a estimate on when the bioconductor will get the 3.12.1 update?

May I suggest that is it possible to also update the releases in https://github.com/GoekeLab/bambu/releases

Thanks so much for keeping an eye on our release!

The release version is ready, though it may take a couple of days for Bioconductor to finish building it after the recent pushes. Based on the Bioconductor schedule, the release will get reflected on Bioconductor around next Tuesday or Wednesday. And then I will also proceed to update the bioconda-bambu version as well.

For now, please feel free to use either the devel branch or the RELEASE_3_22 branch. They are the same, except for the version number (3.12.1 for the release branch and 3.13.1 for the devel branch).

Thanks again for the helpful suggestion. We’ll make a new release with the latest updates soon and will share an update here.

I would like to ask for bioconductor Bioconductor 3.19, I see that only bambu 3.6.0 is supported. I doubt the bugs were retrospectively fixed for older versions.

Is it correct to say that in order to use the newer bug fixed version of Bambu, one has to use the latest version of bioconductor 3.22?
