Spack can inspire us

Dear all,
digging GitHub a guy I am following had find that at the LLNL (lawrence livermore national laboratory) cluster-administrators are developing a package manager very, very interesting, spack. I cannot try it for at least 10 days, but reading its documentation I immediately thought to Chris and FLATPack. Spack, that is written in python, has many features that I would like FLATPack will have, e.g. see the doc. Maybe we can take inspiration from spack.
