How do I make the cursorline background darker like in the example videos?

From another discussion and perusing the documentation, I finally came up with something, but it's not doing anything. I only just started playing with my own Neovim setup, so I'm still unsure where to look. I also tried playing with treesitter's playground, but I don't think it gave me what I'm looking for.
