Git command activated when running EDMC

Describe the bug

There's an unknown command line popping up when I run EDMC. Even with all plugins disabled it keeps showing up.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Run EDMC

EDIT: I have Windows Terminal for my default CLI with this setting found within profiles -> defaults -> advanced

Expected behavior

No broken CLI pop-up.

config/__init__.py seems to run git. I could imagine that being kind of useful for development but unexpected in a normal install
