When I do it manually I have modified files in result, which means, next git pull fails.
Please restore as it was.

I don't believe we've ever distributed files with the +x modifier... can you elaborate more on what you mean?

Well, when I updated to v6 by git pull, my shortcuts stopped to work, I found I need chmod +x which means pull cleared the state I had. I did git pull yesterday again and it removed exex flag again.
Also, when I do chmod +x I get:

Also while we're here, coriolis-data has some mess with x bit:

What is throwing me for a loop is that I develop EDMC on Windows... where chmod isn't a thing. I haven't touched anything with the chmod execute perm and have no idea how it could have changed.

No, I do git pull that's it.

I have script which travels over all folders with plugins and does git pull, after that, edmc itself gets broken because now main file lost x bit.

1st line of it
#!/usr/bin/env python3
means it is expected to have +x and it was so all the way prior 6.x.x.
