Feedback on new Centré adjustment

Hello everyone,

I’m testing a new "Centré" adjustment, which essentially works like a mask shortcut. It brightens the center, increases its saturation, and adds center-clarity. You’ll find it under “Details” -> “Presence”.

So I looked at it and I like the idea! For me personally, it would probably be of limited usability, as I rarely have my subject fully centred like this. Perhaps an option to adjust the mid-point would be nice? Other than that, great work!

Thanks for checking it out! Adjusting the midpoint isn’t really an option for a slider labeled “Centré,” since it’s meant to control the center directly. It’s essentially an inverted vignette designed to make the center stand out. If you’d like to fine-tune the midpoint instead, using masks would be your best approach.

Yea of course, that makes sense :D this kind of adjustment is definitely something I'd usually do with masks but I'm used to way more complex tools than RapidRAW, so something like this probably isn't really a fit for me anyway.

But, I definitely think there are people out there that would like this!

I just installed the Artifact version, and from what I've seen, it only improves the performance of the "Exposure" slider (fixes the saturation issue).
I like the initial color rendering better (it's more natural, in my opinion) with the "Basic" version. Curves also produce better results with "Basic."

Thank you @shockingtax45 for testing. Sadly it's so much more complicated to correctly implement AgX and I have to rewrite a good part of the processing pipeline. Working on it...

I will ping you soon when I have another prototype availabe.
