UI visual feedback when changing playback speed #7455

Describe the problem to be solved
Currently, when adjusting playback speed using > and < hotkeys, there is no indication of the new speed without clicking the gear icon (which usually involves switching to the mouse).
Describe the solution you would like
A short-lived overlay simply indicating the new speed (eg, 1.2x or 120%) that auto-dismisses would do the trick. Some videos, depending on content, aren't immediately apparent that the keystroke did something, especially in 0.1 increments. This can lead to "mashing" the hotkey several times in a row until suddenly it's actually too fast.
Plus, it's just nice to have easy access to the speed that things are at and that you prefer :)
