User Story: Transaction Interface Oversight for Vishnu, Engineering Manager
As an engineering manager named Vishnu,
I want to use the transaction interface to oversee my team’s work with an accessible, easy-to-read display,
So that I can ensure our systems are running smoothly, despite my low vision.
Persona Details:
I’m an engineer managing a team.
I have low vision due to glaucoma, so I rely on screen magnifiers and high-contrast settings to use digital tools.
I need interfaces that don’t strain my eyes or make it hard to track my team’s progress.
Acceptance Criteria:
Accessibility Support: The interface must work seamlessly with my screen magnifier (e.g., ZoomText or browser zoom up to 200%) without breaking layouts or hiding text.
High Contrast Mode: I can toggle a high-contrast theme (e.g., white text on black or vice versa) to make text and buttons stand out clearly.
Readable Text: Fonts are large by default (at least 16px) and adjustable, with no tiny or faint details that disappear when magnified.
Dashboard Overview: I get a simple summary of transactions—like total completed, pending, or errors—on one screen, so I don’t have to hunt through menus.
Keyboard Navigation: I can move through the interface using keyboard shortcuts (e.g., Tab, Enter), since mouse precision is tough with my vision.
Clear Alerts: If something goes wrong (e.g., a failed transaction), I get a bold, magnified notification with a sound option, so I don’t miss it.
Export Option: I can download reports (e.g., CSV or PDF) to review offline with my preferred assistive tools.
