LV wire and corners #6363

Explain your idea

it should be reasonably possible to run wires around corners, and for at least HV wiring it is, however with at least LV wiring it currently just isn't possible, mainly due to the connector height being too short.

using wall mounts of course will fail always fail since they just enforce the wire ends at centre plane.

two solutions;

  • wall mounts being able to point sideways can help in some situations, but will instead limit the path to vertical-horizontal and thus not fix the horizontal-horizontal problem
  • some form of on-corner wall mount, like if you were to combine a horizontal-facing followed by vertical-facing pair of wall mounts, or otherwise a wall mount thats simply rotated 45 degrees towards either side of the block face you place it on, similar to how the existing up-down placement works
Image regarding block occupation, this form should probably only occupy the corner itself,
