Store precovery code version as metadata #11
Description
Changes to the precovery code, particularly changes to the format and quantities that are indexed, may break using previously indexed observations. The code version used to index observations should be stored as metadata somewhere either in a file in the output directory or in the index.db. See #9 for more discussion.
