Hi. I'm glad you find this useful.
For the plugin installation, indeed, you just copy the Aeolus.vst3 extracted from zip to the folder containing your VST3 plugins. On Windows there are several locations where the plugins can be installed (you can check your DAW setting to see where it is looking for the plugins). But usually these are:

  • C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
  • C:\Users\[your user]\AppData\Local\Programs\Common\VST3
  • C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins

On MacOS the folder to copy VST3 is

  • ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3

and for the AU (Aeolus.component):

  • ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components
