make the bot cycle through egos rather than only try the zayin ego, and then consider overclocks if nothing else works. though this would probably be really time consuming so id recommend it to be MDI exclusive |

This won't help much against 50 offence level difference. No tactics will help against the shit I've seen on floor 10 in my last run. I have a different idea in mind: to select gifts based on mounting trials. If sinners can't be stronger, then I guess we should make the enemies weaker. I'll also add sinner revival, and hopefully combined with multiple-keyword build that should do it. |

thats true, higher floors have some insane shit going on, and I like the mounting trials thing a lot, thatd probably be the biggest help. although if anything I would diasgree on, id still recommend to definitely add the S1 to S3, especially with the newer IDs (since it seems like rupture will be the strongest keyword by far for this MD) and their mechanics involving their S3s |

This is a good base, though I'd consider that 3 offense level is equal to 1 clash power (plus a damage up) for however the system ends up coming out. As for retrying, just make sure the bot doesn't infinitely retry encounters. I'd add starlight considerations to the bot, the other starlight settings are very costly, but I'd at least add a setting for the bot to use wishmaking. I use wishmaking especially in my MDI runs to fuse tier 1 gifts or when I want to use 2 gifts for an item instead of 3. Something else you could try is to add pack searching for packs post floor 5, then you can essentially force the bot to chart a certain path. I know you mentioned a "favorite keywordless gift" section, but do you have any plans for handling special fusion gifts? |

Other fusions will wait for now. I tested md f10 with this, and it is pretty doable with winrate, however, I used tremor to stagger and debuff enemies + gossypium to further debuff from stagger + poise for offense up + thrill. Also, I just realized a silly thing: the new multiple-affinity builds treat fusion for secondary affinity gifts very ineffectively. When you run a team, it's usually only one keyword that at least 5 sinners in the team have, therefore, like 60% of secondary affinity gifts become useless, including two fused tier 4. I forgot about that. I'll adjust the shop in the next update I guess. For now, affinity + affinity is pretty ineffective, but at least affinity + damage should work fine. |

Personally I wouldn't even mind if the bot just did deep enough runs and didn't clear 10 every time. The main reason anyone is going to want to automate MDI is to try and get some of those achievements, so in a perfect world we'd just be able to pick whichever of the achievements we want the bot to gun for. But obviously that would be a massive amount of work for you to do. Still perfectly programmable in theory (just have it favour Canto packs, for example). I did have a run a week ago where I kept my hands off the steering wheel and just watched the bot run and it went all the way to floor 10 on its own, but I had to take over at that point. I also frontloaded it with some starlight gifts. Are you thinking of adding an option where the run will actually soak up some starlight ahead of time to increase the odds of success? The clash power one and the "gain levels every floor" one are the ones I find the most helpful when I'm going deep in. I also think a lot of the things the bot does that favour speed (such as avoiding use of Skill 3 in hallway fights) might be detrimental if the bot is going for depth rather than speed. since you seemed to be considering it i wanted to make some suggestions for the MDI bot for if you actually do
add an option to quit and retry battle rather than restart if your units die
