Description
Hi, so I have the schedule on (allowed time 4PM to 10PM), and I tried to set a timer just to see what would happen. The current time was about 9AM and set it for 2PM.
The timer started going for 14 hours, which, if my math is good, is incorrect lmao. So, I stopped the timer and it de-activated the extension regardless of the schedule and without me entering the password. Easy exploit. Tested with the default time (12:30 AM). Again, it's about 9AM right now, and the timer started for 30 minutes. The timer seems to think it's midnight regardless of the actual time, and ignores the schedule entirely.
When I get access to the password again, I can probably just disable the timer in settings and that's a plenty good solution for me, but I thought this was worth reporting.
Summary of details:
- Schedule is active. Mon-Sat allowed time 4PM-10PM. Sun allowed time 12PM-10PM
- Timer sets as if the current time is always midnight (timer set for 12:30 = 30 minutes, timer set for 2:00 = 14 hours)
- Stopping timer early de-activates extension (does not disable in browser settings, only within extension)
Hope this is helpful!
