Feedback: anchoring feerate to dollar values

Thanks for adding this here. My understanding is that this would be useful to the current "decrease min feerate" discussion as the values for it were picked in 2010. I'm not sure if it makes sense to have this as a permanent graph, or if it's more a one-time graph that is useful now, but probably not so useful going forward.

Additionally, I'm not sure what is exactly meant by "2010-dollars value". The graph currently shows sat/vbyte, but having dollar/vbyte doesn't make any sense to me as the highest price in 2010 was 0.40$ per coin.

The original min feerate values were picked later, around 2015 iirc.

What i meant by corresponding dollars value is indeed dollars/vbyte, in order to have a feeling for the "real" price paid to transact. But only having the price in nominal USD terms would not account for inflation, which is why i suggested using 2010-dollars instead. I realise it would be annoying to compute for every data point, as you would need the 2010-$/BTC exchange rate for each of them.
