Feature Request: Custom variable for route

Several of the pre-made categories for silksong are route-specific:

And I noticed that I can manually add variables to a CustomVariables section of the splits file and reference those in the settings of a text element in a layout to be able to have a single layout file that can show which route the currently loaded splits file is designed for:

I'm curious if there's any reason not to add some metadata like the route to the custom vars of the templates for the categories so people can include such elements in their layouts. I'm also happy to try to contribute this myself in a few weeks when I'm less busy, but wanted to mention the idea and check if there's anything obvious I'm not considering at this point

(Also if this already exists or if I'm missing an obvious way to edit custom variables in the livesplit UI feel free to make me look dumb and save me some time haha)

I also don't see a way to add CustomVariables in LiveSplit's UI. This should be easy enough to support; it would mostly be copying the support for Variables but changing the output

I can leave this open as a task if you or someone else wants to contribute

idk if it matters, but Custom Variables are not displayed in the Title component like SpeedrunCom variables are. They would only be displayed if the runner added a Text component to their layout as shown in the 2nd screenshot, which... I don't expect many runners would actually do? But I could be wrong on that

yeah I had never heard of this and I suspect most people haven't heard of this. I think it could still be worth supporting and it's a relatively simple first issue if anyone wants to contribute

I don't think any of the builtins need it but it can be an optional thing for custom configurations
