PipeWire System Mode + Bluetooth Audio (2025) #8
Description
This patch (use-system-dbus.patch) is now required to enable Bluetooth audio in system mode. This used to work out-of-the-box in older Wireplumber versions. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I couldn't get it to work without it. PipeWire System Mode isn't well supported upstream.
Furthermore core.name = /var/run/pipewire/pipewire-0 (place in root) is now required in both /etc/pipewire/{client.conf,client-rt.conf}, otherwise the pipewire client attempts to use the user-mode socket, which doesn't exist in system mode.
