Layout settings are not automatically saved and restored for ebooks (EPUB/PDF)

There was a time when Thorium applied the same presentation settings (display configuration) to all publications, and there was a special opt-in feature to preserve parameters for each individual publication.
Testing revealed that because EPUB publications can have very different authored styles, the automatic application of the same reading system overrides for all ebooks resulted in a bad user experience.
So now every newly-imported publication starts with fresh display preferences. Users can save and apply their preferred preset to other publications.

Thank you for the background explanation. I understand the reasoning. However, it's quite inconvenient that settings are reset even for the same book. For some reason, layout settings are only restored when I open a book for the first time after closing all Thorium windows, but not restored in any other cases.
