Can I safely remove a broken backend? #736

|
I had it set up a year ago and then it stopped working. Plex couldn't authenticate anymore and it was simpler to just do a new backend for plex. I have now disabled import and export for the old backend. Is it safe to delete it or do I risk loosing data? The warnings are quite scary. |

Hello, WS wouldn't delete your external data it doesn't have the function to do this. If you mean local data, i think you should probably click on More > reset system Then delete the old backend and queue import task to reimport from the nee added backend just to keep records in check. However, it's ok to also just delete the old backend without resetting the system, there might be some references left to it though. |
