Runtime CI

Describe the feature

It would be nice to have some runtime CI to make sure that things we don't introduce regressions.

For starters, we could have a test that starts the X server and makes sure it doesn't crash.
Other useful tests would be to make sure that basic X server and extension functionality isn't broken (xdpyinfo, xdpyinfo -ext all, etc.).

Since I'm not too knowledgeable about github CI, ping @callmetango @metux

Sounds very good to me! AFAIK, @metux mentioned some X test utility some time ago, but I never tried it so far.

We already have several tests in our pipeline (stage test in the Xserver build job). But there's probably a lot more things that could be tested.
The tests are running via meson test
