attack-induced spring removed on attacker division, but attack continues #396

Description

@drbergman

Issue:
When a cell divides, it removes all of its spring attachments — including any attachment to a cell it was attacking. However, the attack continues even after the spring is removed, and the attackee continues to accumulate damage.

It’s unclear what the intended behavior should be, but this situation is inconsistent: the physical connection is gone, yet the attack persists.

Potential resolutions:
1. End the attack upon division, or
2. Preserve the spring attachment through division so that the attack continues as intended.

Next step:
Decide which behavior aligns best with the intended biological or model logic, and implement it consistently.
