Can't change cover updated via Kavita+ #3770
Description
What happened?
I just had trouble with a cover I needed to update:
- This series had no volume covers so it just used the first chapter
- Then K+ downloaded the Anilist cover at the time (the first one)
- Volumes came out so I updated my metadata and grouped in volumes with proper covers
- Tried selecting volume 1 cover for the series, it wouldn't update
Only after going through the Reset process was I able to set the vol 1 cover for the series.
I didn't find any issues with this workflow until I had to update from no cover to volume cover
What did you expect?
Either one of these:
- Update cover workflow should work regardless of Kavita+ cover present
- A visual representation of the "locked" cover so that the user knows beforehand to use the Reset workflow
Kavita Version Number - If you don't see your version number listed, please update Kavita and see if your issue still persists.
