Debugging LDAP errors: How to enable more verbose logging for django-auth-ldap?

Dear all,

for some reason the LDAP connection in our environment does not work, but all I am left is one line in the log:

DEBUG 2025-05-28 07:02:52,754 backend Binding as CN=...
WARNING 2025-05-28 07:02:52,755 backend Caught LDAPError while authenticating tux.penguin: LDAPError(0, 'Error')

I already enabled the django debug logging via DEBUG=True, which is visible in the pod's logs. But still the log is only that one line.

Do I have to add a logging stanza to the settings.py file by mounting that into the container?

Or is there an easier way?

This does not give more output, if I add that stanza for django-auth-ldap I only get the line twice...
