Sidebar background has transparency when expanded on half screen

Current behavior

The sidebar background has transparency which makes it hard to read at half screen size. When beyond 2/3 screen, the sidebar pushes the main contents inward, but at half screen or smaller, it overlays.

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)

1. Resize window width to half size (on KDE Plasma, Meta + Left or Right arrow).
2. Open sidebar (click '☰' in top left).

Expected behavior

A solid transparency for the sidebar background or to continue to push main content inward so the background doesn't matter.
